You or a non professional can do a quick triage in 10 minutes. This is accomplished by using screens for Adults, Children and Parents to quickly get to possible diagnoses.

After the screen, you can confirm a diagnosis in 5 minutes or less. You don’t have to remember Diagnostic criteria (DSM IV criteria). Once a Diagnosis is confirmed, place a print out of Criteria that led to the Diagnosis in the Chart. This will justify diagnosis for Quality Care (Internal review) and Insurance companies (External review).
Using Checklists and scores allow you to use the same criteria that were used by Researchers to establish the effectiveness of Medications and other interventions. Medication approval is based on Objective criteria and you will be using the same to monitor and assess the progress of your patients. We use Depression score, Anxiety score, OCD Score, ADHD score, Social anxiety score, PTSD score and Positive Score to assess a patient’s progress. Some checklists require a rating by Psychiatrist/ Therapist. Usually these are no more than 1 or 2 questions that you would be assessing any way as part of your assessment. You now have an Accurate confirmed diagnosis with a Numerical score of the patient’s illness with little or no effort on your part. You can spend your time with the patient exploring various treatment options or refining your questions and concerns.
